Standards not high
Re: "Warning: check frozen berries" (Leader, February 19).
We all try our best to provide healthy alternatives for our diets.
The recent hep A scare with Nanna's frozen berries is bad to say the least.
But did you know that a lot of food products from China and other countries are "back-doored" through New Zealand.
These products are labelled "from New Zealand" and actually contain food items from China and abroad.
I always avoid products from NZ because of this. Our standards are high but our fellows from NZ have lesser standards.
Be aware of what you eat.
