DINERS can choose a different dish every day for a month and still not come to the end of the menu at a new Hurstville restaurant.
Already diners have returned to sample new fare at The Grove Brasserie & Grill at South Hurstville RSL; the restaurant replaces the Modern Grill Brasserie.
There is a range of modern Australian favourites such as pan-fried or grilled seafood, grain-fed steaks together with Mediterranean- inspired dishes, meatballs and mezze plates.
Owners Michael Karzon and Nader Farag have high-end culinary experience from Yarra Bay and St George 16-Foot sailing clubs, and at Souths Juniors.
Mr Karzon said people expected club food to have quality produce and high-standard cooking, better than in ordinary restaurants.
Mr Farag said the aim was to make The Grove a top dining choice for Hurstville residents.
The club's chief executive Simon Mikkelsen has received positive feedback from diners.
Specials are from $8 for grilled rump steak, schnitzel, pasta, pizza, and fish and chips, and on Sunday nights there is a free children's meal for an adult who spends $15.
