Breath of fresh air
We have just moved into Engadine to retire after 43 years as milkos.
On February 20 I drove around to shops at west Engadine to buy a couple of rolls and cakes from the bread shop. Only three parking spaces are available.
I have two arthritic knees so I waited until a lady parked directly in front of the bread shop moved away. A van with "Alpha & Omega Airconditioning" on the side went around me into the spot.
I was 20 metres away but honked once mainly in frustration; the van immediately moved. The young man named Nigel said there's too much anger in the world. Thanks mate; a top class attitude.

A dinner for two
My son and his girlfriend both have Down syndrome.
My son wanted to take her out for dinner on February 14 — Valentine's Day — and he booked a table for two at "D to D" at Beverly Hills.
My wife and I dropped them both at the restaurant and came back two hours later to pick them up. They had a wonderful dinner together.
When my wife and I asked whether they had paid the bill, the reply was a little unclear. When we asked about the bill, it turned out that a very kind woman had quietly paid their bill and left without saying anything.
We just wanted to thank the woman for her very kind gesture. There are very kind people in our community.
