THIS May, St George and Sutherland residents are encouraged get together for Australia's Biggest Morning Tea to help the Cancer Council raise vital money for cancer research, prevention and support services.
The official date for Australia's Biggest Morning Tea is Thursday, May 28, but people can host a morning tea any time from now until June.
About half of all Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the time they turn 85, so every cup counts.
This year, the Cancer Council aims to recruit more than 14,000 morning tea hosts and raise $4.8 million in NSW alone.
Australia's Biggest Morning Tea is now in its 22nd year, and is one of the Cancer Council's leading fundraising events.
