Another level on the existing car park with lots of greenery, lose a couple of trees and house a few that are in the way through holes in the new concrete level to retain the existing greenery — no problem!
Another solution to Gymea parking would be for council to work with the RMS utilising the huge lot opposite the church on Gymea Bay Road.
With a little grading and car space marking, this lot awaiting the commencement of the F6 could be used for another decade, trebling the parking.

Re the idea of an extra level car park at Gymea.
We have a wonderful village atmosphere; let's keep those beautiful old trees. I am sure the residents in nearby units would rather be looking at them, than at concrete. I'm with you J. Brett (Your View, March 19).
