OATLEY MP Mark Coure received an email out of the blue from a resident telling him that about 15 of his election posters had washed up on a beach at Oatley Pleasure Grounds in Annette Street.
And that one of his staff should come down and pick them up.
Mr Coure reckons he has lost at least 40 signs so far, even those from his own house and that of friends and supporters.
Fences have been destroyed and gardens trampled, he said.
"Seeing those posters in a pile at the Pleasure Grounds shows it is an orchestrated effort to take as many of our posters as possible," he said.
"But we will keep putting them up and we will win the fight."
Labor candidate for Oatley O'Bray Smith could not be contacted to see if similar things were happening in her electorate.
