The woman behind the crash that injured Caringbah personality Glenn Wheeler pleaded not guilty on Thursday, April 2, in Sutherland Court.
Deborah Levy, 59, was not present, but her Legal Aid lawyer entered a not guilty plea to charges of negligent driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and making a right turn without giving way to an oncoming vehicle at an unmarked intersection.
She was arrested after her Mitsubishi Star Wagon collided with Mr Wheeler’s scooter on January 31 at the corner of Woolooware Road and Caronia Avenue, Woolooware.
Mr Wheeler, who had serious head and leg injuries, was taken to St George Hospital.
He was in an induced coma before going to a brain rehabilitation unit last month.
