A LUGARNO cat and another from Woolooware were named the masters in the World Cat Federation Ancats Show at Gymea last Sunday.
Federation spokesman Brian Edwards said although quarantine restrictions would prevent the two felines from travelling overseas to compete internationally, the pair could yet become inter-national champions.
The four-month-old Balinese cat is called Tutti-Frutti and the Burmese cat, 20 months old, is named Promise.
‘‘The international title is awarded in Bangkok but the judges will know about the cats there because they will have seen them here,’’ he said.
‘‘The titles go onto the cats’ [formal] pedigrees.’’
