Westfield Miranda continues to cement itself as Sutherland Shire’s fashion hub with the arrival of the UK-founded global fashion chain Topshop Topman which opened today.
Cronulla-born model and aspiring singer Cheyenne Tozzi cut the ribbon which officially opened the store.
‘‘I’ve already shopped with them in New York and London and I’m excited that they’re in the shire now,’’ she said
‘‘Every young woman likes to feel cool.’’
She said some of her personal favourites at the Miranda store were its skinny jeans, jackets and jewellery.
The top-selling women’s and men’s clothing store is the second in the company’s stable to open in NSW, following the Gowings city store.
The Miranda store is the first of three Westfield stores to open in the next 12 months; it is the seventh in Australia.
Hilton Seskin, chairman of Next Athleisure which has the franchise rights to operate TopShop in Australia, said it was exciting to see the Miranda store open.
‘‘Sutherland Shire has a very strong demographic and Topshop Topman will be really sought out; it is very suited to the local market,’’ he said.
‘‘Consumers enjoy what London fashion offers.’’
The 1000-square-metre store is within the newly introduced luxury and international precinct at Westfield Miranda.
The store will receive 180 new styles from London each week and will have a free personal stylist service.
