A woman assaulted a bus driver and police officer at Bexley.
The woman, 19, got on to a bus in Forest Road at 1.40pm, on Friday, April 24.
St George police said she grabbed the bus cash tray and threw it before scratching the male driver, 64.
A passing tow-truck driver helped restrain her.
The woman broke free as she was being handcuffed by two female police officers, punched one in the face and spat at her.
The injured constable was taken to St George Hospital where she was treated for a swollen and bruised cheek.
The bus driver was treated by paramedics for deep scratches to both arms.
The woman was charged with assaulting police, common assault, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, resisting arrest and offensive language.
She was refused bail and was due to appear in Parramatta court on the same day.
