Service station at Menai robbed
A man held up a service station at Menai on Sunday morning, April 3.
Shortly after 1.30am, the man entered the Menai Road business and demanded cash from the male employee, 30.
The offender, who had his face covered with black material, removed a black and red backpack and placed his hand inside in a threatening manner.
He fled with some money along Menai Road.
Sutherland police, who are appealing for witnesses, said the man had a Caucasian appearance and was aged 20-25 years.
He had a black beard and wore a grey-hooded tracksuit top and pants with white sneakers.
