St George Illawarra Dragons’ Josh Dugan’s immediate playing future is uncertain.
The Australian Test debutant injured his right knee in the shock 26-12 loss against New Zealand on Sunday, May 3, at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane.
He had an awkward collision with New Zealand forward Greg Eastwood near the game’s end.
Dugan, normally a fullback, was on the right wing against the Kiwis.
He had X-rays on Monday, May 4, to determine the extent of the injury.
Early reports suggest he will be doubt for the Dragons’ clash with South Sydney on Monday, May 11, at ANZ Stadium.
He could be in doubt for NSW in round one of the State of Origin on Wednesday, May 27, at ANZ Stadium.
