All we get is mindless blather
I walk the same paths.
Hurstville Council have had this problem for years and done nothing to clean up the mess or pressure the developers to clean up their sites.
The council's bureaucratic response says it all.
Not like the Waverley Council 's response and action re their clean-up problems, albeit that the area verges are now mown. Bravo.
Nothing done to actually resolve the cat problem by getting rid of the piles of litter and working with the RSPCA on a regular basis, not piecemeal.
After my initial complaints about litter in November, I was invited by the mayor to serve on a Litter Task Force and I accepted with alacrity.
Alas! The committee hasn't even met! Simply mindless, feel-good blather.
