Cronulla lock Luke Lewis has been charged with a Grade 1 dangerous throw from Saturday night’s thrilling 23-22 golden point win over the Gold Coast.
The match review committee charged Lewis for a tackle on Dave Taylor in the 67th minute.
The incident attracted 125 points and a one-match ban if he were to fight the charge and lose.
If Lewis accepts an early guilty plea he would be penalised 93 carry-over points and would be free to play for NSW in Origin I, if selected.
Lewis was outstanding against the Titans and is likely to be selected for the Blues tomorrow night.
Queensland captain Cameron Smith also received a grade one dangerous contact charge but will be free to play for the Maroons with an early plea.
