A Woodbine man, 38, has been arrested after he was caught driving at 98km/h in a 70km/h zone at Sylvania.
On Monday, May 25, at 12.45am Sutherland police were checking speeds on the Princes Highway when they recorded a Holden Commodore travelling at 98km/h.
The driver was directed to stop on Port Hacking Road. He ignored the direction and drove on until he was stopped and arrested in Pembroke Street, Sylvania.
He was taken to Miranda police station and charged with driving while disqualified, giving a false name, exceeding the speed limit and breaching bail.
He was refused bail to appear in Sutherland Court on June 2.
