NSW forward Trent Merrin has pleaded guilty to a dangerous throw charge from State of Origin I and is free to play for the Dragons on Sunday against Cronulla at Jubilee Oval, Kogarah.
Merrin will have 93 carry-over points to his name after entering an early guilty plea over a lifting tackle on Queensland five-eighth Johnathan Thurston in the 70th minute of Wednesday night's game, won by the Maroons 11-10.
Merrin was was the only player charged by the match review committee from the Origin series opener, and is free to line up for the Dragons in the big derby against the Sharks.
His Dragons teammate and NSW fullback Josh Dugan came through the 2015 origin series opener unscathed and will line-up against the Sharks.
Dugan was outstanding in attack and defence and he set up a try for centre Josh Morris after making a long break downfield before kicking ahead and Morris regathered to score.
Cronulla's Andrew Fifita, who was an interchange forward for the Blues, will also saddle up for the shire club against the Dragons.
A big crowd is expected on Sunday for the two rivals.
Match kick-off on Sunday is 4pm.
