Miranda Hotel is on the state government’s latest ‘‘violent venues’’ list after 12 incidents were recorded in a year.
No other licensed venue in Sutherland Shire or St George was included.
The number of venues where 12 or more violent incidents were recorded in a year fell to 13, the lowest since the system was introduced seven years ago.
They will be subjected to a range of restrictions on serving alcohol.
Ivy nightclub in the City had the worst record, with 23 incidents, followed by Central Coast Beachcomber Resort and Conference Centre at Toukley, with 12 incidents.
Deputy Premier and Minister for Justice Troy Grant said reforms to liquor laws and strong compliance operations had resulted in a 39 per cent reduction in violent incidents at venues on the list.
The number of incidents had dropped from 300 a year to 182, he said.
Mr Grant said a combination of serious penalties and increased scrutiny was forcing venues to be safer.
Do you think pubs and nightclubs in St George and the Shire have become safer?
