The St George Nepalese community has given itself a job to do on Saturday morning, May 30.
At least 40 people are expected to turn up at at 7.30am at Rockdale Bicentennial Park in West Botany Street for two hours of cleaning up.
The park is a community favourite for morning and afternoon recreational activities such as yoga and various sports
The project, organised with the help of the Ethnic Communities Council and the St George Migrants Resource Centre, provides an opportunity for Nepalese people to increase their awareness of local parks and the neighbouring Cooks River and what can be done to look after them.
