FEW things make parents prouder than the artistic efforts of their offspring.
But what do you do with the prolific output of your budding Renoir or Cezanne? Obviously, there's the fridge.
But there's a limit to the number of masterpieces even the largest appliance can hold.
So why not get creative and give those precious artworks the prominence they deserve?
First option is the tried and trusted frame. You can pick up cheap frames in discount shops, paint them and add the artworks.
It's probably a good idea to remove the glass as those cheap frames can have equally cheap (and dangerous) glass.
Then there's pegboard.
Fix it to the wall, add pegboard hooks, then use some bulldog clips with holes in the handles to hang the paintings.
Colourful twine strung across the wall (perhaps in several rows) is another option, and is especially cute when teamed with timber or novelty clothes pegs.
If you've got any disused curtain rods lying around the place, suspend them from a picture rail, add the original hooks, some bulldog clips and, finally, the art.
Of course, you could give it the gallery stamp of approval by stringing professional hanging wire in a wall niche before creating a display any curator would be proud of.
