ST GEORGE District Netball Association wants new asphalt laid for their courts and extra floodlighting at their playing headquarters in West Botany Street, Rockdale.
Association secretary Lara Mina said they needed funding to upgrade their courts.
"The courts have cracks through them and regular maintenance needs to happen so they are playable and safe," Mina said.
The association had received a 2014 state government community partnerships grant for court lighting.
"We have lighting for eight of the 15 hardcourts," Mina said.
But they want funds to light the remaining seven courts and improve the amenities block.
Rockdale mayor Shane O'Brien said he welcomed a meeting with the association. He said there was a process where clubs and organisations could apply through the state government and the council's community grants programs.
