Transport a problem
I am wondering if anyone from the developer lobby or Kogarah Council can explain how these extra thousands of people are supposed to get around?
Local peak-hour roads and rail are already choked.
Quick and easy profits are fine and generate jobs — but do developers actually care about the effect of these ballooning suburbs on the transport system?
How about the council imposes a levy on each development and puts it towards roads and rail?
