Taren Point Bowling Club is hosting the under-18s Test series between NSW and Queensland.
The three day series started on Monday, June 29, and finished on Wednesday, July 1.
Club bowls co-ordinator and former Australian player Wayne Turley said the young players’ skills were outstanding.
‘‘We host the event every two years and it’s good to see the emerging talent in this age group,’’ he said.
Turley said the aggregate points and scores of matches over the three days determined the winner.
‘‘The teams are playing singles, pairs, triples and fours matches,’’ he said.
St George and Sutherland Shire do not have players in the NSW team.
However, Turley said the NSW under-18s team coach, Chris Green, was a club member.
‘‘Chris is a fine coach who lives at Miranda and plays pennants at Taren Point,’’ he said.
