An Earlwood man has been charged after travelling 60km/h above the speed limit at Mascot this morning, July 1.
Botany Bay police were checking speeds in Southern Cross Drive at 12.33am when they clocked a black Subaru WRX travelling 130km/h in the 70km/h zone.
Police said the driver also did not slow down in the 40km/h roadwork, airport tunnel zone, and had to brake heavily to avoid a collision.
Officers stopped the car and found 10 vials of growth hormone and 10 vials of an anabolic steroid.
The driver was taken to Mascot police station and charged with driving recklessly/furiously or speeding in a dangerous manner, speeding by more than 45 km/h and two counts of possession /attempting to, anabolic or androgenic steroidal agent.
He is due to appear in Waverley Court on Wednesday, July 22.
The vehicle’s number plates were seized and his licence suspended.
