The Woolooware Bay Town Centre developer wants to increase the maximum building area and adjust the heights of apartment blocks on the western side of Remondis Stadium.
The Department of Planning and Environment said the application by Bluestone Property Solutions would be exhibited, with comments invited, from Thursday,. July 2, until Monday, August 17.
The application relates to an early stage of the project and not to proposed changes on the eastern side of the stadium which would include a hotel, conference centre, community facilities and 200 more apartments as well initial plans for a new retail centre and refurbished Sharkies club.
A department spokeswoman said the proposal that was on public exhibition would increase the maximum residential floor space by 2950 square metres and the maximum building area for residential use by 9689 square metres.
The maximum height limit would be increased by one storey but reduced by two storeys on part of the site.
