Boxer George Kambosos, of Sylvania, will defend his undefeated record on Saturday, July 4.
He will fight Argentinian Leonardo Gonzalez in the 61.2 kilogram, lightweight-division battle.
The 12-round Pan Asian Boxing Boxing Association (PABA) clash is the main event on the program at Club Punchbowl.
Doors will open at 5.30pm and fights begin at 6.30pm.
The Rockdale PCYC Club youngster, who has had seven professional fights and no losses, is primed.
‘‘I am feeling great, I have had an amazing preparation, sparring over 120 rounds in training, and I am a ready to put on a show,’’ Kambosos said.
Kambosos said he had strong support in St George and Sutherland Shire, and that the support of his family, friends and businesses was inspiring.
He said he could gain a World top-15 ranking with a victory on Saturday night.
‘‘I want to win a world title,’’ Kambosos said.
