Cronulla's dreadful record against Manly continued at Brookvale Oval as the Sharks were beaten 28-16 by the Sea Eagles on Sunday afternoon.
Manly have now won 10 of their last 11 games against Cronulla as they ran out deserved 12-point winners on a gorgeous afternoon on the northern beaches.
The hosts started well and winger Jorge Taufua had Manly out to a 10-0 lead with a pair of well-worked tries.
The Sea Eagles dominated possession and field position for most of the first half but when Sosaia Feki scored just before the break Manly's lead was cut to six points.
Cronulla had done well to be as close as they were at half-time but Manly came out red hot in the second half with tries to Steve Matai and Daly Cherry-Evans to open up a 22-4 lead.
Sharks coach Shane Flanagan would have been disappointed with Cronulla's poor second half with a number of handling errors and mistakes in attack.
Andrew Fifita scored a late double for Cronulla while Taufua completed his hat-trick to see Manly climb off the bottom of the table.
Sea Eagles fullback Brett Stewart was outstanding for the hosts.
