A male driver, 26, has been charged after a police pursuit overnight from Riverwood to Narwee.
Officers chased the driver of a Jeep when he did not stop at their command at 9.45pm in Wiggs Road.
He finally stopped in a dead-end Narwee street, Wiruna Crescent, and was arrested when he tried to flee.
A check found that the driver had a 2010 learner’s licence and was disqualified from driving until 2043.
The driver was charged with an outstanding first instance warrant (failing to appear on a disqualified driving charge), police pursuit (Skye’s Law) and driving while disqualified.
He was refused bail to appear in Burwood Court today, July 6.
