IT WILL be the end of an era for the Little family when their Arncliffe Studios property goes to auction later this month.
An incredible 110 years of history is invested in the business through five generations.
"I am selling and moving to a property I have at Robertson," Mr Little said.
"I will be doing some sketchings and paintings and restoring old antiques at Robertson.
"I will be keeping myself busy.
"There is a lot of interest in the Arncliffe property as a lot of people have been driving past and stopping to look."
Real estate agent Luke Barbuto said the property was zoned (R3) medium density residential.
The 796-square-metre property has two three-bedroom cottages, workshop and storage shed.
Kevin Little's father David McColl Little began Arncliffe Studios in 1905.
He had migrated to Australia from Glasgow in 1870.
David McColl Little began his training in leadlights and stained glass in 1890 at Lyon, Cottier & Co, Sydney before starting his own business.
His son William Little took over Arncliffe in 1945.
Then Kevin Little, William's son, took over in 1972.
His daughter Julie Stapleton is an exhibiting artist and runs creative workshops. The fifth generation is Kevin's grandson Daniel Stapleton, a graphic designer and musician.
