Jannali Neighbourhood Aid is celebrating its 50th year of community service in 2015.
Last year the service was voted Sutherland Shire's most outstanding community service.
Much of the work is done by volunteers.
A decision was made recently to change the name of Jannali Neighbourhood Aid to BeConnected Community Services Inc to reflect the increases in the quantity and range of services to clients and to ensure future growth and opportunities to work with other compatible organisations.
BeConnected has vacancies for board members to join in making future decisions on behalf of clients and members.
The organisation wants to speak to people who could assist in the role of treasurer, working with the office manager and other board members.
