JOHN Bova, 13, will experience the biggest ride of his life when he races for Australia at the 2015 Junior World Motocross Championship.
The Grays Point boy will race his KTM motocross bike in the big event in El Molar on July 18-19.
"He got his first bike for his fifth birthday," his mother, Tania Bova said.
"John has been riding ever since and he competes all through NSW and interstate."
The young gun rider is excited about heading overseas for his first world junior championship. Riders had to submit an application to enter and need to be registered riders with a club.
John, who has won a host of state and national titles, fits the bill and will race over two days in Spain in the junior 85cc, 12-14 years class. "The first day is qualification and the top 36 riders make the final the next day," he said.
"Then after the heats there is another event for the riders who don't qualify to reach the final."
The year 8 Kirrawee High School student will leave a week before the titles to prepare on the Spanish tracks.
