Letter: Rockdale Council rate increase almost five times the rate of inflation

Wow! Just received our 2015-2016 Rockdale Council rates notice. A shade under 10 per cent increase! That's almost five times the inflation rate. How can this increase possibly be justified? It's another example of shambolic governance at all levels of government.
