ELOUERA Surf Life Saving Club has claimed the overall title at the Surf Life Saving NSW State Pool Rescue Championships.
The championships, held at the Peninsula Leisure Centre at Woy Woy, involved 21 clubs from across NSW.
Elouera SLSC took the crown with 346.5 points, a dramatic improvement on 2014 when they finished seventh.
North Cronulla came fourth on 217 points, along with Wanda (fifth, on 167) and Cronulla (10th, on 68).
A strong team of 26 athletes represented Elouera with a good mix of youth and experience.
Coach Alex Clarke was the star, and claimed five gold medals and one bronze medal.
He was also part of three more gold medal wins for Elouera in the relays.
Promising junior Sam King won four individual medals in the under-17s girls' division and another four in the open relays.
Masters athlete Troy Racklyeft blitzed the 30-39 male individual events with four gold medals.
The club's performance was highlighted when they took out the open men's and open women's four × 50 medley relays double.
Elouera will send a team to the Australian Pool Rescue Championships in Southport, Queensland from August 7-9.
