Miranda police officer allegedly assaulted man
A police officer will face court in September after a man was allegedly assaulted at Miranda police station last year.
On Saturday, December 6, police arrested a man, 56, at Woolooware for high range drink-driving.
He was taken to Miranda police station where he alleged he was assaulted by a police officer.
On Monday, July 27, a constable attached to the Central Metropolitan Region was issued with a court attendance notice charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He will appear in Sutherland Court on September 10.
