A PROPOSED 13-townhouse development in Durbar Avenue, Kirrawee, has almost sold out off-the-plan in less than two weeks, with prices starting at almost $1.2 million.
The Savelle Property project started selling on Monday, July 13 and by July 24 deposits were taken on nine of the 13 townhouses.
Prices range from $1,173,000 for a three-bedroom townhouse to $1,250,000 for a four-bedroom townhouse.
"To date we have had 226 inquiries," Savelle Property licensee Steve Savelle said.
He said the demand shows there are not enough townhouses being built in the shire.
"With the new LEP there are a lot of development applications going in for apartments.
"People have got a massive choice of apartments but there are only a handful of townhouses being built.
Mr Savelle said the three-bedroom townhouses in his development are 136 squares internally and the four-bedroom ones 162 squares internally.
"They have double side-by-side garages with internal access to the kitchen, and three bedrooms and a second loungeroom upstairs."
Savelle Property is planning to build another block of 10 townhouses in Burraneer Bay Road, Burraneer.
