Missing pet
Recently our loved family staffie wandered out the front door and went missing.
We searched all afternoon and evening for her but there was no trace. Our kids had a sleepless night and were extremely sad.
There were lots of people looking for her and the IGUM facebook page was also advertising that she was lost.
The following morning we received a call from the pound to say she had been taken to Boundary Road Vet, then collected and taken to the pound.
I called the vet to see if they could put me in contact with the person or people who found her to say thank you, but they had thrown out the details.
Our family just wants to say thank you so much for taking the effort and delivering her to the vet.

Care for homeless
I want to praise Brian Chute for his care and compassion for the homeless people who reside in/around Gunnamatta Park, Cronulla.
Recently, a man passed away in the picnic sheds. Brian was happy that at least he passed on in the morning sun surrounded by park and not on a cold hard bench.
Brian was a friendly face for this man most mornings of the week. He would often have a cuppa and even brekky for him. If only more people could make time for others less fortunate.
