Youth Parliament
Congratulations to Rebekah Oliver, Carol Lin and the other young representatives from the St George area who participated in the 2015 YMCA NSW Youth Parliament.
I was very pleased to be able to sit in on the debates on domestic violence and phasing out coal, among other things. As a Youth Parliament alumna myself, the standard of both the debate and the bills was one of the best I'd ever seen. I hope more of our Youth MPs graduate to the real thing.
