A new partnership between Sydney Symphony Orchestra and Sydney Airport is giving talented children the chance to learn musical skills from the professionals.
The airport, which supports the orchestra’s Schools Concerts program, has launched its collaboration with the orchestra to teach pupils through live performances.
The relationship means children from school communities will benefit from being part of interactive concerts.
The orchestra played for more than 2000 primary school pupils — including pupils from Bald Face Public School, Blakehurst — in Sydney yesterday, July 29.
The orchestra reaches an annual 30,000 students in NSW through its learning and engagement education programs.
