A Banksia man, 30, has been charged after a serious assault at Haymarket on Sunday morning.
Emergency services were called to Campbell Street at 4am after reports of a fight.
They found a man, 26, unconscious.
He was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital where he remains in an induced coma.
His injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening.
Sydney City police arrested three men at the scene and took them to Day Street police station.
A Banksia man, 30, has since been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, while a second man, 30, has been charged with common assault.
Both were granted strict conditional bail to appear in Downing Court on August 26.
The other man was released pending further inquiries.
