SCHOOL students have a new way to record their achievements.
Multiculturalism Minister John Ajaka visited Kirrawee High School to promote the Up2Now website as part of the Shape Your Future NSW campaign, which encourages students to be volunteers.
Mr Ajaka said the website allowed students to record their volunteer work and to create tailored CVs that would demonstrate community and other experiences to prospective employers.
The record could also be used in applications for tertiary education.
Kirrawee High School is among schools that have registered.
"Volunteering is a great way to learn new skills, develop social awareness and connect with the community," Mr Ajaka said.
Students who take part will receive a state government certificate at the end of the year.
