AFTER seven long weeks without a victory in the NRL, the drought finally broke for St George Illawarra at Jubilee Oval, Kogarah, on Sunday.
A rejuvenated Dragons team, wearing Iron Man jerseys to promote Super Heroes Round, showed no chinks in their armour to lance the Newcastle Knights, 46-24.

On a day when 10,236 fans turned out in warm winter sunshine, a plaque was officially unveiled in honour of the late Reg Gasnier, one of the four original League Immortals, by the Gasnier family just before the kick-off.
