St George Illawarra Dragons winger Jason Nightingale, 28, has his right foot in a moonboot and is expected to be out for several weeks.
The Kiwi Test winger damaged his right ankle in the Dragons 46-24 win over Newcastle on Sunday, August 2, at Jubilee Oval.
He will have scans today, August 4.
