BARNARDOS Australia's Find-a-Family program aims to find suitable adoptive families for children in need of a new family to care for them.
Ruth Drennan, of the program, said they currently had brothers and sisters who were looking for their "forever families".
"These children have experienced a lot in their short lives and it's crucial we keep them together," she said.
"The children need to be placed with permanent carers who will proceed to adoption.
"You will need to have a lot of time, energy, and the capacity to care for them and, of course, lots of love to give them, too."
Barnardos urgently seeks a forever family for three young brothers: six-year-old Mitch, two-year-old Jack and eight-month-old Jerome in the Blue Mountains, Penrith and Blacktown areas.
"Mitch is well mannered, caring and kind — he loves his little brothers and is very protective of them," Ms Drennan said.
"Jack is a typical two-year-old, an independent toddler and very social.
"Jerome is a textbook baby — he eats, sleeps and plays."
Ms Drennan said these brothers needed to be placed with permanent carers who would proceed to adoption.
"They need parents who will be loving and supportive to work through the challenges that may arise as the boys grow.
"They would also need to support the boys with birth family contact."
