TO HELP remember those fathers, grandfathers and fatherly figures who are no longer around, Guardian Funerals is hosting a Father's Day memorial service at Woronora General Cemetery and Crematorium on Sunday.
Guardian Funerals' regional manager Mark Beach said the first year or two after losing a parent or parental figure could be the hardest.
"However, it can also be one of those things that we never fully heal from and it's important to continue to think about that person, even years after they are gone," he said.
The 2.30pm service is open to the public and will include refreshments afterwards.
It is at Centenary Court, 121 Linden Street, Sutherland.
