NETBALLERS Leilani Finau, Britney Pierce and Lili Gorman-Brown, are good friends.
This month the trio will represent their respective high schools at the NSW All Schools open age Challenge in Netball Central, Sydney Olympic Park, Sunday, September 13.
Leilani Finau, 15, of Caringbah, Britney Pierce, 16, of Caringbah, and Lili Gorman-Brown, 16, of Woolooware, are juniors who have come through the Sutherland Shire Netball Association.
Leilani, who plays wing defence/centre, is in the NSW Combined High Schools and a year 10 student at Cronulla High School.
Britney is in year 10 at Our Lady of Mercy College, Burraneer, and was picked in the NSW Combined Catholic Colleges team at centre/wing attack.

Leilani has played netball for six years.
"I am so excited to be a part of this team," Leilani said.
"It's a great opportunity to play with older and more experienced players, who I can learn from, and there was so much talent in the years above me that I feel very lucky to have been selected to play with them," she said.
"We have such great role models, like Kim Green. She has been an influence on me from the very start, when I was just 10 learning the game.
Britney Pierce, who has played netball for eight years, said: "Being selected among the youngest players in the open team is exciting,"
"To be playing with the older girls gives me an opportunity to learn new things from more experienced players.
Lili Gorman-Brown, a player for eight years, said making the team was "an opportunity to play with other talented players to represent my school and club at a high level".
