THERE will be some tears of joy and sadness when pupils from ACTiv Elite Performers at Sans Souci start singing Everything's Coming up Roses at the 7th annual Sandra Graber's Red Rose Ball on September 19 at Kogarah.
The ball raises money for the St George Red Rose Trust for families of cancer patients having treatment.
The trust was established by the daughters of Sandra Graber, a St George woman who lost her battle with stomach cancer in 2008.
Her youngest daughter, Charisse, started the Red Rose Ball to raise awareness and funds for people with cancer and their families.
Charisse Graber will be joining her pupils when they sing the song.
It was her mother's favourite, and the ball is a nod to her musical tastes.
The fundraiser is supported by the local health district, and staff from St George and Sutherland hospitals.
Tickets are $95 for adults and $35 for children 12 years and under.
It will include a three-course meal, unlimited drinks, entertainment and prizes.
Bookings: Anastasia/Pauley, St George Red Rose Trust, 9113 2494.
