RAY White Carlton will host a Pink Ribbon Morning Tea on Sunday, October 18, at PJ Ferry Hall Reserve, Allawah, to raise money for the Breast Cancer Foundation.
Ray White Carlton principal Louise Morrin said the company was motivated to support the cause after Ray White Carlton office all-rounder and single mother of two boys Natasha Stairmand was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer.
Ms Morrin said despite undergoing chemotherapy and two operations since her diagnosis, Natasha still turns up to work with a smile on her face.
"We were all in shock when we first heard the news as Natasha is such a strong woman and has always been the backbone of our office," Ms Morrin said.
"Hosting a Pink Ribbon Morning Tea is a great opportunity to help our good friend as well as raise awareness and support for a foundation that is serious about improving breast cancer survival rates.
Ms Morrin said the event would feature prizes and activities.
Ray White Carlton Pink Ribbon Morning Tea is $20 (adult) and $2 (child), which includes breakfast, tea and coffee.
