Re "Skate park debut a sight for sore eyes" (Leader, October 29).
They have done such a great job with the park — well done to all involved from what I've seen (and I've been nearly every day since its opening ).
It's very, very well received by all who use it and a great vibe out there as well looking forward to the finishing touches.

Awesome, the skate park is perfect — so stoked.
Being one of the originals that have been fighting for this for more than 30 years, I am over the moon and love skating it with the next generation coming through.
Now to just get every kid on a skateboard because the grown men look ridiculous out there on those scooters. It's a skate park, not a scooter park.
So grab a skateboard and get going, you grommets. Us older crew didn't fight for the last 30-odd years so you could use it as a scooter park.
I hope Santa brings every kid a new skateboard this Christmas.

This facility is world class: my hat goes off to everyone involved in the project.
Living in Kurnell I personally love the location.
My five-year-old attends every day — we can't get enough of the skate park. All of the skaters are polite and courteous. Well done to all: A++.

It's in the middle of nowhere! It would take more than 30 minutes to skate/walk from Cronulla station to get there! This should have been built in the heart of Cronulla!
