Two police officers have been charged following an alleged misconduct incident in Sydney's south.
A male sergeant, attached to a Local Area Command within Central Metropolitan Region was issued a Future Court Attendance Notice for misconduct in public office on Monday.
A male constable, also attached to a Local Area Command within Central Metropolitan Region was issued a Future Court Attendance Notice for obtaining financial advantage by deception on the same day.
Both men have been charged in relation to a traffic incident that occurred in July 2014.
The men will appear at the Downing Centre Local Court on January 7.
They are the subject of internal management action.
