FIVE-PIECE children's band Lah-Lah will bring their Lah-Lah's Stripy Christmas tour to Sharkies Cronulla on Monday, December 7.
The band is made up of Tina Harris (lead vocals), Mark Harris (vocals/double bass), Matt Ottignon (vocals and sax/flute/clarinet), Gary Daley (piano, accordion/keyboards) and Nic Cecire (drums/percussion).
Tina and Mark Harris own a house in Rockdale and visit regularly when not staying in the inner-city for work.
They met while studying at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and started a string of music schools in 2007.
They formed Lah-Lah to expose children to a wide range of musical styles with influences from world music, gypsy, jazz to rock 'n' roll.
Lah-Lah stars in the top-rating ABC children's television show Lah-Lah's Adventures.
The band recently signed with Sony Music and released a 27-track album Lah-Lah's Adventures: Soundtrack Album.
Lah-Lah has had sold-out performances at the Sydney Opera House and other venues, and performed to more than 30,000 fans in the past year.
They are World Vision Australia arts ambassadors and have perforrmed for Indigenous families in remote communities.
