St George police have charged a man and woman after they found a hydroponic cannabis set-up of 95 plants at Bexley at the back of a house on Wednesday.
They also seized about three kilograms of dried buds with an estimated street value of $295,000.
Police were called in to a neighbourhood dispute about 8.30pm involving knife threats on King Georges Road.
A man, 36, was charged with intimidation, common assault, possessing a prohibited drug, being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence, and taking part in the enhanced indoor cultivation of cannabis and supplying cannabis (of greater than indictable quantity and less than commercial quantity).
He was refused bail and is due to appear in Sutherland Local Court today.
A woman, 40, was charged with taking part in an enhanced indoor cultivation of cannabis and supplying cannabis (greater than indictable quantity and less than a commercial quantity).
She was granted conditional bail and is due to appear in Sutherland Local Court on December 17.
